A Message from our CEO
Dear Donors and Friends of Richmond Hospital Foundation,
I would like to extend our gratitude for your unwavering support of our health care teams in Richmond. All of us at the Foundation are very grateful for everything that you are currently helping to fund or have previously supported to make it possible for physicians, nurses, and the many other professionals to look after all of us during unprecedented times like we are facing right now. We feel such a sense of appreciation magnified many times over.
We know people are feeling uncertain and need to be sure that our families are safe, our employees and businesses are being looked after appropriately. Our thoughts are with each of you as you gain your sense of direction and decide what is important and what steps need to be taken in your own personal situation. We do know that if we all comply with the changes that are being asked of us by our governments and health authorities, this crisis will be come to a conclusion much sooner. We’d like you to know that you are in our thoughts throughout these challenging times and we hope that you will feel a sense of calm in due time.
The dedicated teams who are delivering heath care for people in our community, looking after those who are ill or in need, are truly setting an incredible example of heroism and we will continue to support them in the best possible way that we can. We are so grateful for their expertise, caring, and compassion during this emergency.
For those of you who have been asking us how you can help, I would like you to know that we at Richmond Hospital Foundation are all taking action by working remotely from home. Feel free to reach out to those on our team that you regularly communicate with, either by phone or email. Very soon we’ll be able to share some ways to help as we know many people have been wondering and asking us what they can do to support the health care teams.
