World Duty Free Raises Over $8,000 For Richmond Hospital’s New Acute Care Tower

For the fifth consecutive year, World Duty Free Vancouver is supporting Richmond Hospital Foundation and their community of care by raising over $8,000 towards the new acute care tower for Richmond Hospital. World Duty Free operates at Vancouver International Airport. 

“Giving back to our local communities is one of our company’s core values and something we are passionate about,” says Tracy Wong, Regional VP of Operations at Dufry North America. “The team at World Duty Free greatly appreciates the vital role Richmond Hospital plays in keeping our community members healthy. Together, we can make a difference.”

In addition to organizing fundraising events, World Duty Free supports and encourages their teams to actively volunteer their time to charitable organizations.

“I want to thank World Duty Free and their staff for continuing to partner with the foundation and committing to improving health care in Richmond for generations to come,” says Natalie Meixner, President and CEO, Richmond Hospital Foundation. “The new acute care tower is going to enable our health care teams to provide the best in care close to home.”
