Bittersweet Lemonade Association Fundraiser
Bittersweet Lemonade Association was founded when we realised that the people around us needed a renewed sense of community. As a group of high schoolers, we felt that we could make an impact by sharing our love for music by hosting summer lawn concerts and bringing music directly to peoples’ backyards. In 2021, we hosted a Lawn Concert on Southlands Heritage Farm and raised $951 to support Indigenous communities. The following year, we raised $7,500 for Richmond Hospital Foundation associated with the Firefly Youth Network in 2022. Continuing our commitment, we hosted another lawn concert in 2023, and raised $4,375 for Richmond Hospital Foundation. With our ongoing support for Richmond health care, Bittersweet Lemonade hopes to raise funds and awareness for the critical needs in our community, enhancing health and wellness through our passion for music.
