Richmond Hospital Redevelopment Project
The business plan approval announced by the B.C. Government July 2021 is an exciting milestone for Richmond’s community of care. Thanks to all the families, businesses and organizations that have contributed philanthropically, Richmond Hospital Foundation will be able to champion essential and innovative healthcare for the future of Richmond and Richmond Hospital.
Following the original project plan, the work has already begun.
TIMELINE
PHASE 1
FALL 2021 – FALL 2024
Park Centre and Rotunda decant and demolition
- Relocate psychiatric emergency unit outside the South Tower
- Relocate Cancer Care Clinic to ground floor of Milan Ilich Pavilion
- Relocate programs in the Rotunda to the North Tower fifth floor
- Demolish Park Centre and Rotunda
- Preloading of site
