Premier John Horgan announces great news for Richmond
This morning, Premier John Horgan announced great news for Richmond. The scope of the Yurkovich Family Pavilion (the new Acute Care Tower) has been expanded to include a significantly larger Emergency Department, a brand new Medical Imaging Centre, Critical Care Unit (ICU & High Acuity Unit), and Pharmacy. This is in addition to the already announced expanded Operating and Procedure Rooms and 219 inpatient beds (an incremental 111 beds).
The Premier said that construction will begin in 2024 following the design and procurement phases.
