When it comes to living your best life, a healthy heart, lungs and nervous system are key. This ‘Trio of Life’ is now front and centre for Richmond Hospital, which is in need of new diagnostic equipment for cardio-pulmonary and neurological conditions. With the goal of raising over $500,000, Richmond Hospital Foundation is calling on the community to support its new Trio of Life Campaign. To launch the campaign C&O Apparel Inc. will match donations, dollar for dollar, up to $80,000.

“We wish to show our support because our employees and friends have received great care at Richmond Hospital. This equipment will benefit many people in the community,” explained C&O Apparel Inc. in a company statement. “We hope to inspire others to come together to secure this new equipment for Richmond Hospital as quickly as possible.”

Currently, the general internal medicine physicians at Richmond Hospital and the medical teams in cardiology, pulmonary medicine and neurology need new equipment to ensure that disease progression is discovered in a timely manner and that conditions are accurately assessed before treatment plans can progress. The use of new equipment will lead to timely care and a better quality of life.

“We want to support our medical teams with the equipment they need to care for patients throughout Richmond,” says Natalie Meixner, President & CEO of Richmond Hospital Foundation. “We are delighted to thank C&O Apparel Inc. for kick-starting our Trio of Life Campaign with their generous matching gift.”

Funds raised will allow Richmond Hospital to acquire the latest diagnostic equipment.
