NEW Yurkovich Family Pavilion
Launching a New Era of Health Care in Richmond
The new nine-floor Yurkovich Family Pavilion will provide enhanced and increased health care services for Richmond’s growing population including an expanded emergency department, all single-occupancy patient rooms with ensuites, 208 in-patient beds, new surgical centre, and a fully equipped medical imaging centre, to name a few. The new facility will be earthquake safe, constructed above the flood plain, and 100% carbon neutral.
Making Moves
Within the existing hospital facility, relocation of the Cancer Care Clinic and the IV Clinic is now complete. Other major moves included those into the community: the Richmond Early Childhood Mental Health Program, Outpatient Pediatric Clinic, Noakes Maternity Clinic, and Diabetes Education Centre.
