What’s New for 2022
Over the course of our last few Foundation events, you may have noticed we have a new way of managing registration. We thank you for your additional efforts and for adapting so quickly. If you have any trouble at all, please contact Erin Williams at email@example.com for assistance.
Instead of leaving the entertainment until the very end, we will have moving performances for you to enjoy throughout the entire evening. We hope you enjoy this new format.
Bank/Silent Auction Pickup
We have streamlined the bank payment and silent auction pickup this year. The “Foundation Bank” will be located at the back of theatre just before you exit, and we will have signage and volunteers to help you find your way.
Live Auction/Leadership Challenge
Our Leadership Challenge and live auction will be hosted by the amazing Fred Lee – if you’ve ever witnessed him live, you know how excited we are to have him here with us tonight, and if not, you’re in for a fun-filled evening!
For guest convenience, and to avoid lineups, QR codes will be available at your dining tables for Live Auction and Leadership Challenge payments. The QR code links to the Richmond Hospital Foundation website for secure payment.
We will also have cashiers at the “Foundation Bank”. The Foundation Bank will accept cash, MasterCard, Visa, and American Express. Anyone who uses the foundation bank for leadership challenge or live auction payments will be required to fill out a donation form or a live auction bidder form.
Silent auction will go live on Wednesday, October 5 at 6:00PM, at which time you will receive a link to our Starlight Gala Silent Auction Website where you can register and start your bidding!
Silent auction payments will be processed on the Givergy platform, so ensure to register yourself and preauthorize your credit card in advance to help save time. Of course, if you have challenges making payments with Givergy, representatives will be available at the Foundation Bank. Silent auction items will be distributed just outside of the theater doors as you exit, in the Lower Level Lobby.
For the first time in Starlight Gala history, we will be hosting the Starlight After Party with the Charles Johnson Experience in the upper level after the main event. We hope you’ll join us for there for some drinks, food, delicious gelato (generously donated by Mr. Gold of Steveston), and good company.
We will keep the bank, wine and spirit wall & silent auction pickup areas open until midnight, so no need to worry about rushing until you are ready to go home.
Please plan a safe ride home – we will have taxi vouchers available at coat check.
