6th Annual Black Tie & Blue Jeans Event a Smashing Success!

This unique, creative and high profile event, held August 8, 2008 at the Twin Oaks Farm was a great success, raising over $225,000 net for the MRI campaign. A heartfelt thank you goes out to all of the guests, sponsors, participants and volunteers.

Congratulations to the generous donors who were honoured at RHF's annual Donor Recognition Reception on May 22, 2008.

This year’s event was held at Richmond Hospital and guests had the exclusive opportunity to tour the new Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) Suites that were funded by last year’s successful $1.2 million campaign.

Milan and Maureen Ilich were recognized for two decades of support with the announcement that the new diagnostic imaging department will be named The Milan and Maureen Ilich Diagnostic Imaging Centre.

Prestigious “Doctor of Philanthropy” awards were given to: Buddhist Compassion Relief Tzu Chi Foundation Canada, The Kronier Family, Beatrice Pickwell and Richmond Chinatown Lions Club
