You are invited to Richmond's most entertaining and one-of-a-kind event! Join emcee Dawn Chubai of Citytv at the 7th Black Tie & Blue Jeans Gala, held under an elegant white tent on the beautiful green fields of Twin Oaks Farm. Guests of this exclusive Summer event are treated to an Equestrian Speed Derby (as part of the Twin Oaks Derby), gourmet dinner, fantastic silent auction, and a highly entertaining 'live team auction,' during which guests bid on a 3-person competing equestrian team that performs for the audience in hilarious costumes. The highest bidder of the team becomes the owner. The next day, the teams will compete and the owners of the top three winning teams will win cash prizes (you do not have to attend the next day to win).
Proceeds from the event will go towards the Foundation's purchase of a state-of-the-art 128-Slice Adaptive CT Scanner to replace our current 16-slice scanner. This will be the first machine of its kind in BC, and in addition to our new MRI, will make Richmond Hospital's Milan and Maureen Ilich Medical Imaging Centre a leader in the province.
