The 10th Annual Starlight Gala was a HUGE success! Thanks to the many stars – the sponsors, donors, guests, and volunteers – with its sold out crowd of 420 guests the event raised a record-breaking $350,000 net in support of the Richmond Hospital Foundation’s MRI Campaign.

The reception hall and theatre area were veritable circuses with acrobats, a contact juggler who rolled glass balls over her body, a performer who stacked chairs up 20 feet high and performed acrobatics on them, two acrobats on a huge “jack” type apparatus, and a girl flipping around on a hoop suspended from the ceiling. Not to mention Abbaracadbra - an Abba tribute band - who played with amazing energy and had the happy crowd dancing until midnight.

A surprise highlight of the evening was a challenge gift - a guest offered to match contributions up to $50,000, which led to $130,000 in additional donations.
