4th Chinese-Canadian Telethon/Radiothon exceed the goal and raised over $260,000 net
With the generous support of the community, we have exceed our goal and raised over $260,000 net in support of the Richmond Hospital’s OR (Operating Room) Campaign.
On November 12 at 8:00 am, volunteers were waiting eagerly at the phone center for phone calls. The day was filled with non-stop showcasing of the Richmond Hospital. Doctors talked about their amazing jobs; patients and families shared their touching stories. All day and night, the radio and television continued to promo and broadcast the fundraising programs - the phones continued to ring... non-stop. We are thrilled with the continuous support of the community and the encouragement of donors like you.
Funds raised from the event go towards funding precision tools for our surgeons to provide cutting-edge orthopedic, gynecology, urology, and general surgery. These tiny, high tech instruments have huge benefits making surgery safer, less painful, and recovery time for patients is shorter. We hope that you will take pride in knowing that you have helped make a difference.
